Belgium kick off Euro 2024 campaign with victory
The Red Devils defeated Austria 3-2 in their opening Group F match
Belgium began their Euro 2024 campaign with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Austria in Frankfurt on Monday.
Michy Batshuayi gave Belgium the lead after 12 minutes, but Austria equalised through Christoph Baumgartner just before half-time.
Kevin De Bruyne restored Belgium's lead early in the second half, but Austria again hit back through Marko Arnautovic.
Substitute Leandro Trossard scored the winning goal for Belgium with just 10 minutes remaining.
The victory puts Belgium top of Group F ahead of their next match against Slovakia on Friday.
