PSV signs experienced forward Ivan Perišić
The player is rejoining his former club after more than a decade
Perisic to join PSV on a two-year contract
PSV have completed the signing of experienced forward Ivan Perisic on a two-year contract, the club announced on Wednesday. Perisic, 33, returns to PSV after more than a decade, having previously played for the club from 2009 to 2011. The Croatian international has since gone on to play for Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich, and has won numerous trophies, including the Bundesliga title and the Champions League.
Perisic is a versatile forward who can play on either wing or as a central striker. He is known for his pace, skill, and goalscoring ability. He has scored over 100 goals in his career and has represented Croatia at three major tournaments, including the 2018 World Cup.
PSV manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is delighted to have signed Perisic. "Ivan is a great player with a lot of experience," he said. "He is a proven winner and he will bring a lot of quality to our team. I am sure he will be a valuable asset to PSV."
